A Passion for Horses
Danielle has had a passion for horses all her life. As a child she was a keen pony clubber gaining some of her efficiency tests, attending camp & representing the PC in the Prince Phillip Cup Games team many times. Then Danielle developed a passion for showjumping and competed nationally at British Showjumping on ponies and horses, achieving many accolades before easing off her competing to go to university to gain a BA(Hons) in Business & Human Resource Management.
Whilst at university she worked at various competition & livery yards and also trained for her BHS exams and evented. Once her degree was complete, she set up Holmside Hall Equestrian based in Burnhope where she has gained an invaluable 16 years of experience in running a successful livery and competition centre. Danielle still competes in all disciplines and produces horses from novice to advanced level.
Empowering Others
Danielle is a BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach in complete horsemanship (BHSII), gained her UKCC level 3 and has recently completed the National Development Programme for Coaching Excellence. She is currently training for her BHSI exam working with a variety of top class coaches from around the country.
For many years now Danielle has successfully coached a variety of riders, of all ages and abilities, across all disciplines from grassroots to advanced, with showjumping being her favourite! As well as being a recognised BD and BS coach, she also coaches candidates for their BHS assessments, signing off skills records and is a BHS riding & road safety trainer. It’s safe to say, Danielle loves coaching and the horses well-being is always paramount. Her passion for equestrianism means that she has a desire to assist riders to develop successful relationships with their horses. She prides herself on empowering others to achieve their goals no matter how big or small.
