NECESSITIES
We are fortunate to have qualified, reliable and trustworthy contacts within these professions. Our farrier’s are Dean Mould D.W.C.F and team . The farrier visits once every two weeks.
Our dentist is Tim Baty. He is a qualified full member of the World Wide Association of Equine Dentistry. He also holds exemption exams for advanced dentistry recognised by DEFRA.
Our yard vet is the reputable Durham Equine. Durham Equine provide monthly yard visits for registered livery clients.
We have regular visits from Andrew Wheals from Spalding International Saddlery. He is a Master Saddler and qualified saddle fitter.
Our yard Physio is Andrea Bainbridge MSc MCSP HCPC Cat A ACPAT, who is a chartered Physiotherapist specialising in animal therapy.
Our livery clients may choose to use a farrier, vet or dentist of their choice.
WORMING
We do onsite WEC 3 times a year and also worm for tape worm and insisted red worm once a year. This will be discussed prior to arrival.
We have a compulsory worming programme designed by Durham Equine.
BIO-SECURITY POLICY
This will be discussed prior to arrival.
We have a strict bio security policy here at Holmside Hall designed by our vets.
LORRY AND TRAILER PARKING IS ALSO AVAILABLE
All trailers must have appropriate locks and are left completely at the owners risk.
